Celebrating emerging Hoosier artists
September 22 - October 23
Process Gallery, Gayle Karch Cook Center
Artists at Work features an eclectic mix of creative works by artists who have all participated in the On-Ramp Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator program run by the Indiana Arts Commission. In August 2021, the Gayle Karch Cook Center for Public Arts & Humanities hosted sections of the On-Ramp program in collaboration with the Indiana Arts Commission, the IU Arts & Humanities Council, and the Center for Rural Engagement.
On-Ramp teaches entrepreneurship skills to artists and creative professionals by focusing on a portfolio career, key business concepts, and a community-engaged artistic practice. This exhibit aims to highlight various works of the participants in celebration of their work during the program.
On-Ramp Creative Entrepreneur Accelerators are presented by the Indiana Small Business Development Center, a program of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, and Indiana Arts Commission (IAC). This initiative is funded in part by federal funding provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration through the CARES Act.
