Why Platform?
In modern language, a platform is understood as the space where digital interface and engagement happen. Think of social media platforms, and the shared intellectual exchange offered there. Connections can be instantaneous and information can be spread immediately.
But in its truest sense, a platform is a stage upon which things occur. It is a precondition for creation, a base for a multitude of futures. That's what we're building here at Platform: a strong base for the future of Arts & Humanities scholarship at Indiana University.
